Delegation of British Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office Visited the LSE-Fudan Research Centre

On November 30, 2023, Adrian Johnson, Chief Research and Analysis Officer and Head of the Multilateral Research Group at the British Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, along with Senior Chief Research and Analysis Officer Jonathan Bacon, visited the LSE-Fudan Research Centre for Global Public Policy. Professor Yijia Jing, Dean of the Institute for Global Public Policy and Director of the LSE-Fudan Research Centre for Global Public Policy, and others welcomed the delegation.

Professor Yijia Jing introduced the achievements in joint research and education resulting from the collaboration between Fudan University and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) since the Fourth China-UK High-Level People-to-People Dialogue held in Shanghai in 2016. In particular, he highlighted the remarkable progress achieved by of the LSE-Fudan Research Centre for Global Public Policy and its Sub-Center at LSE. The participants exchanged views on important global governance issues, the role of China in global conflict resolution, the directions of UK’s policy towards China, and future cooperation between China and the UK.
