Recently, Professor Yijia Jing, Dean of Institute for Global Public Policy, was invited to serve as an editorial board member of the journal Local Government Studies (LGS). LGS is indexed in SSCI, SCOPUS and other important databases, and plays a key role in the study of local politics, policy, public administration and management and governance. As a leading international academic journal, it has a five-year Impact Factor of 2.791 (2021).

Professor Yijia Jing has been committed to serving academic journals in the field of public administration and management. He was the first Chinese scholar to work as an associate editor of the top journal Public Administration Review (2015-2018) and the co-editor of the International Public Management Journal (2015-). He served as editorial board members of SSCI-indexed PA journals including Governance, Public Management Review, Policy and Politics, Australian Journal of Public Administration, International Review of Administrative Science, Public Administration and Development. In 2021, Professor Jing founded the English quarterly journal Global Public Policy and Governance (GPPG), which was published by Springer Nature Press. At present, the GPPG journal has published seven issues and been indexed in SCOPUS since the summer of 2022.
